Charlie's Birthday Bash

Friday was Charlene's birthday and we all celebrated by heading down to the beach. It was beautiful weather and the kids just loved splashing around in the water!

Baking, Biking and Butterflies

Mmm, choc chip cookies have got to be one of my favourites =) Probably because it's about the only thing I can bake and it actually works out okay (well according to Mum I make them too big, but you know what they say...the bigger the better!)

So while these yummies were baking in the oven, I went for a quick bike ride with the camera in tow.

It's nice to see the creek flowing again after all the rain we've had. Usually at this time of year, it's completely dry.

December

The past two days have been a bit strange for December. We had a big storm - thunder, lightning, rain, wind - yesterday, then today, after some high temperatures, it clouded over and we got more rain! 
I'm not complaining though; take a look at these clouds =)
