{Winter}

Winter. 

When the brook flows with clean, fresh water and the birds come out to play

When the sun and clouds make for a grand end to the day

When the promise stretches out across the sky as a bow of remembrance

When the raindrops glisten in the light, making up their own dance

When the wildflowers bloom and blossom and the grass shows itself green

Everywhere around you, a piece of God's handiwork can be seen

{Powerhouse}

Spur-of-the-moment adventures are the best kind. 

We jumped in the car one winter's Saturday afternoon not really having anything planned. Pulling out the driveway, wondering which way to turn, we decided on left...and somewhere along the way we decided on heading to the old Powerhouse! It's getting to be a pretty well-known spot around here - I've seen a few people taking photos in/around it, so it was fun to check it out for myself. 

{Cousins? More Like Best Friends}

These girls were so much fun to take pictures for and they hold true to the saying "cousins are childhood playmates who grow up to be best friends."
