When the Leaves Change

I love autumn. 

Love the amazing colours the leaves turn. 

Love the earthen smell the ground gets after it's rained and the smell of woodsmoke as it curls and swirls around in the air. 

I love 'sloffing' around in my uggies, trackpants and hoodie as the air gets colder and the days shorter.

Love the last rays of sunlight as the sun makes it descent in the west, casting light through the last leaves on the trees.

I love watching the birds twitter back and forth under the canopy of trees down our driveway.

Oh, and one thing I really love is that it's perfect book-reading weather! You can snuggle up on the couch and sip a nice hot cup of tea while reading your favourite book. 

Only thing I don't like is that sometimes that book gets priority over other things...like writing an essay for uni, or sleeping...
